Cooper (billed as 5'7" 175 lbs), a junior, has rushed for 1688 yards and 34 touchdowns for the Cougars this season through 12 games. His biggest highlight game may have been against Northwest in October 26 for 223 yards and a school record six touchdowns. [video highlights]

"six touchdowns" is no stranger to E.J. Lee, who did the same in a state semifinal game against Duval in 2014.

E.J. Lee (billed then as 5'7" 175 lbs) was a Washington Post All-Met player, All-MoCo running back, Big 33 All-Star, and back-to-back state champion with the Jaguars in 2013, 2014. He is a junior at Wesley College where he was named NJAC Rookie of the Year in 2016. He has 2938 yards in 34 games for the Wolverines.

Q.O. is on the verge of making a third straight State Championship appearance with a win against Wise HS who defeated the Cougars in three State Championship games. Wise, whose only defeat is to private school power Calvert Hall, is looking to win their 4th straight State Championship. The Cougars are said to be unbeaten in the state-semis round.
