DAMASCUS (10) 0-0
Even after losing the All-Met Player of the Year, this team is poised to make its 3rd Straight appearance in the 3A State Championship game. Road doesn't start easy though as they have to make a trip to the Cougar Dome. -Jason H-B. |

QUINCE ORCHARD 0-0
Year in and year out, the Cougars have amazing players that step up and make names for themselves. This year is no different and I can't wait to see who's going to step up with the Week 1 suspensions as the Hornets come swarmin' into the Dome. -Jason H-B. |

SENECA VALLEY 0-0
While the Eagles may still field a small team in numbers, they field the most dynamic backfield in the county. Can the two 4 year starters running back finally lead The Valley back to greatness? The journey starts at Poolesville. -Jason H-B. |

SHERWOOD 0-0
With 2/3 triplets gone, the Mocofootball Top 25 Player going in to 2016 is going to have to carry the load of the team. Highly interested to see who else is going to step up for the Warriors as they face the Barons. -Jason H-B. |

NORTHWEST 0-0
The Jaguars definitely have taken a blow now that all contributors from the 2013 State Championship team are gone. Thankfully some young guys from last year turned veterans can help the new QB become acclimated to the bright lights of Friday Night Football as they roll into Gaithersburg. -Jason H-B. |

PAINT BRANCH 0-0
Tough season ender for the Panthers last year as they went 8-2, but missed the playoffs. After some impressive showing at the scrimmage against Gonzaga, I look for this team to be focused this year to really challenge and compete with Sherwood for a top playoff spot. As they learned last year, no game can be overlooked, so look for them to come out strong as they welcome Whitman. -Jason H-B. |
