DAMASCUS (10 1st place votes) 2-0. LW: #1
Hornets extended their win streak to sixteen straight games and twenty-two regular season games. Look for them to keep rolling with Watkins Mill coming to town. -Jason H-B. |

QUINCE ORCHARD 1-1. LW: #2
The Cougars went out did what they were supposed to do and dominated The Wildcats. Look for more of the same this week as Wootton comes to the Cougar Dome. Sad part for the Patriots is that they get 100% fully loaded QO with the return of Beander and Bazzie. -Jason H-B. |

NORTHWEST 2-0. LW: #4
Huge win vs. previous #3 Seneca Valley. The road doesn't get any easier as a dangerous Blair team comes to the Blackhole. The Jaguars better beware because Coach Fields and the Blazers will have some tricks up his sleeve against his old team. Game will be a good indicator of both teams identities. -Jason H-B. |

SHERWOOD 2-0. LW: #5
The Warriors came out last week guns blazing on Clarksburg. This week on paper should be easy, but it's a rivalry game, and as Sherwood knows 10 years ago, Magruder came to town and upset the eventual State Runner-up Warriors. Game is definitely must win for the Warriors to keep playoff hopes alive in the tough 4A North. -Jason H-B. |

SENECA VALLEY 1-1. LW: #3
Devastating loss to the Jaguars last week, but probably the best learning experience the Screamin Eagles are going to get to prepare them for their week 9 match up. They should take out any angers and frustrations this week as they travel to Churchill. -Jason H-B. |
