DAMASCUS (10 1st place votes) 3-0. LW: #1
Steamrolled over Rockville as expected. The bus rides to and from Magruder may go longer than the actual game this week. -Jason H-B.
The Hornets distributed running duties among 8 rushers against Rockville. TD Ayo-Durojaiye rushed three times for 86 yards (28.7/att) and two of his first name. Gage Dickens rushed for a pair of touchdowns himself. Hornets punted 0 times. QB John Allan Ferguson attempted four passes total. As long as the running offense remain unchallenged, look for Damascus games to end earlier than every other in the state. |

QUINCE ORCHARD 3-0. LW: #2
Once again the Cougars easily vanquished the Coyotes as they extend their undefeated streak against them. Unfortunately, the current Cougars undefeated season sees it's first true threat as they welcome Bullis to the Cougar Dome. -Jason H-B.
QO was down 8-0 to start the game versus Clarksburg and managed to score 63 unanswered. Unbeaten Bullis (IAC) is the favorite in this contest of public vs private. Bullis is QO's first non-MCPS opponent in the regular season since playing Charles Hickey High (Baltimore County) in 1998. |

NORTHWEST 3-0. LW: #3
In the biggest lopsided game since 2007 for the King's Trophy, Northwest thwarted their cross-town rivals in Seneca Valley. Look for Northwest to keep the ball rolling as they travel to John H. Harvill Stadium to face the Trojans. -Jason H-B.
Jags scored a massive victory against a state-ranked opponent in then #4 Seneca Valley. Northwest's starting defense held Seneca Valley to 0 points in at least two trips to the redzone. They should have no trouble disposing a struggling Gaithersburg team. |

PAINT BRANCH 3-0. LW: #5
Took care of business in a big way versus a struggling Walt Whitman team. Tough game against divisional opponent in Blair coming up this week. Will be a great test to see where both teams really stand. -Jason H-B.
Climbed yet another notch for the third straight week on the rankings after beating Whitman. Panthers are taking care of business, but of all the unbeaten teams in the county, they have faced the weakest path. Blair looks to be on even level with PB. This is one of the better matches in Week 4. The winner will most likely receive Elite-6 votes. |

SHERWOOD 2-1. LW: #6
Shutout an up-and-coming Einstein program to get back on course in the 4A North. This week they better remain focused as they have a solid Richard Montgomery team coming to Olney. -Jason H-B.
Sherwood beat a respectable Einstein squad in Kensington and now faces the Titans' counterpart; a team that can score. RM has 82 points in two wins so far this season. |

SENECA VALLEY 2-1. LW: #4
It's very rare occasion to see such a lopsided score in a King's Trophy game, but there's no time for the Screamin' Eagles to lick their wounds. Watkins Mill is coming and they're looking for a fight.
Screamin' Eagles took a shock of a loss against Northwest. Now they face a confident Watkins Mill squad coming off two straight wins outscoring opponents, 83-7. Look to Seneca to drop at least 34 points on Friday in a quest to get back on track. |
