Alex Twine (QO) and Bernard Wolley (SV) has been added to the Crab Bowl Roster as well, bringing the MoCo Football player total to 16.

----------

Seven players from Montgomery County schools were added to the Maryland Crab Bowl today, nine in the past three weeks. Our Lady of Good Counsel leads all Montgomery County schools with four representatives. They are followed by Damascus with three of their own. There are also three head coaches selected as assistants for the game. Kreg Kephart, Kevin Bernot, and Mike Nesmith. Ironically enough, all three are also player alumni of Montgomery County schools.

Added October 20:

  •  Alex Twine, Quince Orchard
  •  Bernard Wolley, Seneca Valley

Officially added October 19:

  •  Earvin Anumbga, Paint Branch
  •  Alex Cole, Sherwood
  •  Vincent Croce, Our Lady of Good Counsel
  •  Scott Mergner, Georgetown Preparatory
  •  Joe Rosenblatt, Our Lady of Good Counsel
  •  Joel Ross, Damascus
  •  Daniel Upson, Watkins Mill

Added on the 10th of October:

  •  Zack Fetters, Gaithersburg
  •  Connor Frazier, Damascus

Added August 4th (kickoff roster):

  •  Blake Countess, Our Lady of Good Counsel
  •  Zachary Dancel, Our Lady of Good Counsel
  •  Crusoe Gongbay, Rockville
  •  Jamal Merritt, Sherwood
  •  Brandon Phelps, Damascus

MoCo Football coaches in this year's Crab Bowl are as follows:

  •  Kreg Kephart, Gaithersburg (special teams)
  •  Kevin Bernot, Rockville (running backs)
  •  Mike Nesmith, Paint Branch (offensive line)

There are now a total of 16 (updated 10/20/2010) MoCo Football players in the Washington roster.

The game will be played on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Bowie State University.

The Maryland Crab Bowl pits the top senior college prospects from the Baltimore region versus the Capital region ("Washington") Marylanders. Crab Bowl alumni include Jelani Jenkins (Good Counsel/Florida), Tavon Austin (Dunbar/WVU), Sean Stanley (Gaithersburg/Penn State) among many other of Maryland's best players today.

The Washington squad has won the first two games; last year by a score of 24-21.
