MoCo Football Private - 9/30-10/1

by MoCoFootball Staff on 10/01/11

Bullis Bulldogs 54
Avalon Black Knights 0

Kevin Jones is the real deal. The speedy back ran like a well-oiled kawasaki ninja. He accounted for five touchdown tonight, four rushing and one on punt return. Jones now have 1066 rushing yards in five games. He reminds me of Hassan Dixon but with some horses on the offensive line. The Bulldogs (4-1) laid the smack down on Avalon (4-1) early and never let off until the end. Black Knights' proved to be one-dimensional having trouble to give stud running back Rashid Ibrahim (season low 58 rushing yards) an aerial support they so desperately needed.

Our Lady of Good Counsel 34
Red Lion Christian Academy 14
RLCA scored first with RB Devon Russell getting in from the 2-yard line. The Falcons fired back with Dorien O'Daniel punching it in from 4-yards out to tie the game. The home team Lions would score once more in the first quarter but that would be their last of the night. Good Counsel would score four unanswered touchdowns. Brendan Marshall connected with Kendall Fuller twice for scores. Dorian O'Daniel would finish with a game and season high 144 yards in 30 carries. Brendan Marshall went 9-for17 and 254 yards and 2 TDs. Fuller and Stefon Diggs both have four catches each and over 100 yards receiving for the day; Fuller with 127, Diggs with 115 respectively.
