The questions that come in the latter end of the regular season are, #1 Did my team make the playoffs? #2 (if yes) do we rest our starters? #3 (if no) what needs to happen for my team to make it?

 

Five teams have clinched a playoff spot:

4A-West Region: Quince Orchard (8-1), Churchill (8-1), Northwest (7-2)

4A-North Region: Paint Branch (8-1)

2A West Region: Damascus (9-0)

 

Still Alive or fighting for a spot are...

4A-West Region: Richard Montgomery (6-3), Clarksburg (6-3)

4A-North Region: Blair (6-3), Sherwood (6-3)

3A-West Region: Watkins Mill (7-2), James H. Blake (6-3)

 

R.M., Blair, and Watkins Mill just need to win their Week 10 game and they're in. The other teams (Clarksburg, Sherwood, Blake) will need to win their games and hope the stars aligned for them to garner enough playoff points with teams they need to win, win for them to earn a chance at the playoffs.
