It's looking like Quince Orchard alum Zach Kerr is getting another break! Cardinals DL Jonathan Bullard was injured (hamstring) in last week's game against the L.A. Rams, which means- according to USA Today- puts Zach Kerr into the starting lineup for next week's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers (7-5). Kerr accounted for 4 solo tackles in the Cards' 34-7 loss to the Rams. He played on 39 of 79 defensive snaps in that game.
Kerr (Univ. of Maryland + Univ. of Delaware) has 10 total tackles so far this year since being signed by the Cardinals (3-8) on October 2. This is Kerr's 6th NFL season. He played his first three seasons in the league with the Indianapolis Colts before playing with the Denver Broncos in the 2017 and 2018 seasons. He played in 16 games with the Broncos in 2018 where he had 29 total tackles (11 solo), 1.5 sacks, 1 pass defended.
