OVERVIEW
:::Who We Are:::
MoCoFootball.com was created in 2005 by Michael Cornejo. It is an online community of enthusiastic fans, players, coaches, and alumni residing or tracing their roots to Montgomery County, Maryland. The site was the result and product of the public's inability to find news, announcements, scores, and conversation pertaining to Montgomery County high school football teams and alumni from across the nation.
In less than three years, MoCoFootball.com evolved into the first D.C. Metro Area website to station reporters who provided instananeous information and time sensitive scores via phone and text messages from multiple volunteers.
Today, MoCoFootball.com continues to be a staple to tens of thousands on Friday nights of the Fall.
MoCofootball.com also provides information on other county sports as well; basketball, lacrosse, soccer, baseball, field hockey, track, and wrestling are featured on our ever-popular message board.
MoCoFootball.com is home to nearly 5,000 registered members frequented by millions of visitors.
:::What We Do:::
The website/forum is powered by its community. We strive to put Montgomery County football on the map by marketing our quality of football; the athleticism and competitive spirit of our players, the selfless service and excellence of our coaches, the unrelenting support of our community, and the legacy of our alumni.
:::How We Make a Difference:::
We are committed to doing our very best in giving our community members an open avenue to converse and be proud of being a part of the MoCoFootball community. We strive to find ways to uphold the traditions and pageantry that make our brand of football great.
We continue to learn on how we will best able to connect the past with the present and in the end serve as a reminder for our alumni that they have been a part of something special.
